This policy outlines the responsibilities and limitations related to third-party software, themes, and plugins installed on customer websites.
1. Responsibility for Third-Party Software
If you choose to install third-party software or plugins—such as WordPress themes, add-ons, extensions, or external tools—Osmond Technologies, LLC does not support or manage these components unless a separate service agreement is in place.
Customers are fully responsible for:
• selecting third-party plugins or themes
• verifying compatibility and security
• managing updates
• resolving issues caused by third-party code
2. WordPress Core Management
WordPress is provided pre-installed as part of your hosting service.
Osmond Technologies, LLC will manage security updates and core software updates for WordPress upon request for a $10 monthly maintenance fee.
This service covers WordPress core only.
It does not include:
• plugin updates
• theme updates
• troubleshooting plugin conflicts
• repairing damage caused by third-party code
3. Limitations, Safety, and Reliability
Osmond Technologies, LLC cannot guarantee the stability, performance, or safety of any third-party plugin, theme, or software package.
Testing unfamiliar or custom third-party software requires additional labor and increases service costs. For this reason, unsupported plugins or themes are strictly the customer’s responsibility.
If a third-party plugin or theme causes:
• site instability
• security vulnerabilities
• data loss
• downtime
• performance degradation
the customer assumes full responsibility for resolving the issue or contracting Osmond Technologies, LLC for paid remediation.
4. Unsupported Themes & Plugins
Any theme or plugin not provided, recommended, or approved by Osmond Technologies, LLC is considered unsupported.
Customers using unsupported third-party components must ensure:
• they are safely maintained
• security patches are applied
• compatibility is monitored
• issues are resolved promptly
