This Standard Hosting Agreement (“Agreement”) outlines the terms under which Osmond Technologies, LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) provides basic hosting services to clients. These services are intended for customers who need server space only and do not require website maintenance, security management, or ongoing support.
By using our hosting services, you agree to the terms below.
1. Overview of Hosting Services
Standard Hosting provides:
• server space for your website
• basic server-level security
• access to your hosting control panel
• standard server performance and uptime as covered in our SLA
This Agreement does not include:
• website updates
• plugin or theme maintenance
• content updates
• security monitoring beyond standard server protections
• backups beyond what is specified in the Backup Policy
• troubleshooting of website issues
• support for third-party plugins, themes, or custom code
If you require maintenance or hands-on assistance, you may upgrade to our Managed Services Program at any time.
2. Customer Responsibility
Under Standard Hosting, the customer is fully responsible for:
• the design, content, and functionality of their website
• updating themes, plugins, and CMS software
• maintaining site security
• managing backups beyond the weekly automated backup
• ensuring code compatibility and reliability
• fixing errors caused by third-party software or modifications
Any issues arising from website content, code, or third-party integrations are the sole responsibility of the customer.
3. Support Limitations
Standard Hosting does not include free technical support.
Assistance with issues outside basic hosting (server outage, login access, etc.) will be billed at our normal support rate.
Support may include:
• emergency restoration from the most recent backup
• troubleshooting hosting-related or server-level issues
• paid support for website-level problems
Support for third-party software, plugins, themes, or custom code is governed by our Third-Party Software & Plugins Policy and may incur additional costs.
4. Backups
Weekly backups are provided according to our Backup Policy, but we cannot guarantee the stability, completeness, or suitability of backups.
Customers are strongly encouraged to maintain their own backup processes.
5. Security
We maintain general hosting security at the server level.
However, we are not responsible for:
• vulnerabilities caused by outdated plugins or themes
• hacked or compromised websites
• malware introduced by third-party software
• security breaches resulting from customer-side actions
Clients who want enhanced security monitoring must enroll in Managed Services.
6. Termination & Suspension
We may suspend or terminate hosting services for:
• nonpayment
• security risks that affect our servers
• illegal or abusive content
• violation of any Osmond Technologies policy
Clients may cancel at any time by contacting support@osmondtech.com.
No prorated refunds are offered for partial months.
7. Liability
Osmond Technologies, LLC is not liable for:
• data loss
• website downtime caused by user-installed software
• security breaches caused by customer actions
• errors introduced by third-party plugins, themes, or code
• indirect or consequential damages
Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for hosting services during the most recent billing cycle.
